Meet the airplane you will be flying
Our multi-engine airplane is N605VA, a 2023 Tecnam P2006T MKII. It seats four, runs on twin Rotax 912 series engines, and carries a Garmin G950 avionics suite. It is IFR capable, which matters when you want to practice instrument procedures in a twin during your hours instead of only on the checkride.

Our packages are built for pilots who are already qualified in a twin and want more time in one. That commonly includes:
- Pilots who just finished a Multi-Engine Add-On and want to log more time while the training is fresh
- Instructors working toward or finishing MEI training who need consistent multi-engine hours
- Airline-track pilots building multi-engine experience toward their next certificate or job application

Twin Builder 10 or Twin Builder 25: choosing your package
We offer two bulk wet aircraft time packages. Wet means fuel and oil use are handled in the package structure, though a fuel and oil surcharge can apply after each flight.

The base price covers P2006T aircraft time only. Checkout, ground and flight instruction, and proficiency training are separate, as are housing, non-owned aircraft insurance, and away-from-base fees. Each pilot needs proof of insurance with at least $75,000 in hull coverage and $250,000 in liability coverage before dispatch.

How to make every hour teach you something
Logging time is easy. Learning from the time takes a plan. Before you fly, decide what each block should improve, then debrief afterward. Some ideas for your hours:
- Fly engine-out procedures until the flow is calm. Brief them before every takeoff, not just on training days.
- Plan cross-country flights with real weather. Practice fuel planning and alternate selection in a twin.
- Add instrument practice to keep approaches and holds sharp in the P2006T.
- Practice night and different airport environments when your qualifications and currency allow.
- Record what you learned. A short note after each flight builds a personal checklist you can use for years.

Housing is optional and subject to availability. It can be included as a financed allowance up to $2,000 per month when approved.
How is the fuel and oil surcharge paid?
