Advanced Pilot Training for Griffin, GA Pilots

  • IFR-certified Cessna 172 fleet
  • Dual Garmin G5 and Garmin 650Xi avionics
  • GFC 500 autopilot in select aircraft
  • Instrument Proficiency Checks and Flight Reviews

Griffin is the county seat of Spalding County, just south of Henry County, where Speedway Flight Training is based at Atlanta Speedway Airport (KHMP). If you already fly, the question is usually which rating comes next and where you can train for it efficiently.

Our Cessna 172s are IFR-certified and equipped with dual Garmin G5 displays and the Garmin 650Xi, with GFC 500 autopilot in select aircraft. That setup supports instrument approaches, cross-country navigation, and checkride preparation. For current pilots, we also offer Instrument Proficiency Checks and Biennial Flight Reviews.
